a row, Colin Jones had a huge night: 172 yards on 25 carries
- Bridgeport ran the
ball 40 times. This has to be a record in the Air Henson era
- The passing game,
however, was sound. Mann was 15 of 23 for 154 yards and no interceptions
- Pilot Point was
favored by 9
- Neither team turned
the ball over
- The game was moved
from Friday night at Bridgeport to a Saturday day came at Lake Dallas
due to heavy rains (it was the only game moved or rescheduled)
- Sean Simpson caught 6
balls for 78 yards
- Jeff Warner picked up
47 yards on 5 catches
- It took the Bulls a
couple of weeks to get their legs, but the town is now cautiously
optimistic
- The defense did a
great job this night, allowing only 8 first downs and 151 total yards
- In fact, the defense
has allowed only 21 points all year
