The Story The Rhome City Council refuses to pay $500 membership invoice to the South Wise Chamber of Commerce. Last year's fee was $350.

The Story The body of murder suspect Antonio Limon, 44, of Bowie was found Wednesday only about a quarter-mile from the Hot Skillet Restaurant.

The Spin The Hall of Fame of Cowardly Acts may be issuing an invitiation for the Class of 2007.

The Story A strong rumor suggests that the McDonald's in Decatur will be razed and a new McDonald's to put in its place. That would cause the fast food restaurant to shut down for three months.

A 13 year old boy was shot in the neck with a BB gun near Greenwood. The three teenagers involved indicated they were playing "Cops and Robbers."

The Spin "Next time he will respect my authority," said one boy in a fake interview. "I told him to halt and he said that he hadn't done anything wrong and that I had no reason to detain him. I've seen enough cop shows to know I had to use unreasonable force at that point."
