The Story The Decatur School Board calls for a $38 million bond package in an effort to persuade voters to build an often talked about new high school. If it passes, taxes would increase 22 cents per $100 of property value.

The Story The Decatur Planning and Zoning Committee considers a "mixed" zoning area west of downtown. "I think it's a wonderful idea," said member Marilyn Dodson. "I think it's a terrible idea," said Rex Gage.

The Story On Friday night, a Livingston, Texas man put $40 in quarters into the "Jeopardy!" slot machine at the Hollywood Casino in Shreveport. Moments later he hit the $8.1 million jackpot - the largest in Louisiana history.
