The Spin Unconfirmed reports indicated they flew a banner that read, "Kids, don't worry if you screw up the TAKS test. You can join the army!"

The Story
A guy allegedly steals $40 worth of gas in Denton which gives rise to a high speed chase across Wise County and into Jack County.
News worthiness ***
The Spin "Yeah, we might have jeopardized a few lives over the $40," say one police official. "But nothing gets our adrenaline pumping like a real life car chase like they have on that Starsky & Hutch movie. I think I even caught some air at some point!"

The Story A chiropractor in Bridgeport is arrested on sexual assault charges. From the Messenger: "The victim went on to say that [chiropractor] Chames told her she would have to disrobe for the treatment. When he had her positioned for treatment for her back, that was when Chames had sexual intercourse with her, according to the affidavit. 'Dr. Chames informed her there would be no charge for this session,' the affidavit stated. The following day, the victim said she returned for treatment and Chames apologized for what had happened 'and then repeatedly asked her if she liked it,' the affidavit stated.
News worthiness ****
The Spin I'm sorry. Did I just read, "returned for treatment?"

The Story Decatur basketball coach Joe Berry announces he won't coach next year. Then his wife chews out Decatur reporter Robert Morgan in a Letter to the Editor for mentioning in the news story that his family was the subject of a highly publicized death threat on myspace.com last year claiming it was "unnecessary'"
News worthiness ****
The Spin Hey! The guy's got a band around this stomach! Give him a break. (And, for what it's worth, the attack seemed unjustified.)

The Story Decatur Main Street director Frieda Davis auditions for the film, "Women In Cages 2: Wise County Vixens Escape."
