The Story From Wednesday's Update: "Four mobile homes in the New Fairview area  were evacuated overnight after reports of a gas leak sent firefighters and police to the  area near the Blewett Community Center. Sheriff's deputies said that 35 people were evacuated to the Fairview Baptist Church."

The Story The Bridgeport Index reported that Howard Garrett, the "Doctor of Dirt" to local AM radio listeners, lashes out in his newsletter about the recent "trimming" of the tree on the lawn of the Wise County Courthouse. (First revealed here in The Spin)

The Story The Sheriff's Office warns against an email scam (similar letter here) that promises you 35% of $126 million if you simply assist the African Development Bank in transferring the money to the United States.
