The Story The First National Bank of Bridgeport is sold.
News worthiness (on a scale of 0 to 5) ****
The Spin The Spin will intentionally avoid trying to same something funny about the subject since he has always feared, and continues to fear, the wrath of the chairman, president and CEO of the bank.

The Story KBOC is still up for sale despite reports that it was in the process of being sold to the Z-Spanish Radio network.. "People to People" is still on the air, however.

The Spin Apparently the prospective buyers were upset when they couldn't find a buyer of a truck bed cab for a 1984 Chevy one-ton.

The Story Two Bridgeport police officers in Hurst in a video simulation room. "If we can resolve [a volatile] situation with the least amount of use of force, it is a success," said the trainer.

The Spin "But if we get the chance to zap the fire out of a bad guy with a Tazer, it certainly makes our day," said one ficticious police official.

The Story The Decatur EDC agrees to provide $200,000 to a "western boot company" as an incentive to relocate to Decatur. Part of the money will be used to pay "for the costs of the principals of the firm to relocate to Decatur."

Bridgeport High School is vandalized on the same week that the school suffers some bad press after the federal government did not find it was adequately performing.
