The Story The Bridgeport Index begins running a "report card" to review the Bulls performance from the previous football game. The initial Lake Dallas game was reviewed  in 12 categories and gave the following grades: Five A+'s, Five A's, and Two A-'s.

The Spin The players immediately petitioned the Bridgeport School Board to put the Index in charge of reviewing their performance in English and Chemistry.  A decision was tabled until after the results of district play.

The Story Tracie Davis delivers her fifth child at home via natural childbirth. "With home delivery, things are done for the mother, not to the mother."

The Story The Wise County Sheriff's Office warns of an email scam that promises to make you an ordained minister in less than 48 hours for $29.95.

The Story Devon Energy, which purchased Mitchell Energy last week, announced it will now pay $4.6 billion for the purchase of Anderson Explorations, Ltd., a Calgary, Alberta-based Canadian natural gas company. The transaction will make it the largest independent producer of natural gas in the U. S.
