The Story The Messenger gets word that the City of Bridgeport may be spending public funds for the "infrastructure" of the new Bridgeport Doctor's Hospital but can't get any answers from anyone. Bids are being sought for "concrete paving to water lines to street lighting."

The Spin Who normally pays for those things? Did the City of Decatur pay out any money for the support of the Wise Regional hospital? Would this be worse than a property tax break or an EDC money donation? Just asking.

The Story Lois Wallace of Bridgeport complains to the Messenger about the lack of coverage for "middle school football."
