The Story The turbulent political season winds down as the early voting turnout sets records in the county.

The Story A 14 year old is allegedly involved in a case of 'road rage' in Chico.

The Spin What's more odd, that a 14 year old is driving, that a 14 year old can be stressed by another's driving, or that a case of road rage can occur in Chico?  Note to authorities: Keep that kid out of the metroplex.

The Story The Decatur Eagles remain undefeated.
News worthiness **
The Spin A Zogby poll of Decatur fans revealed that 82% would allow a John Kerry presidency in exchange for a state championship but only 9% would take a state championship if it meant the legalization of gay marriage.   "Hey, we're football crazy but we ain't that crazy," said one unidentified fan.

The Story Almost $20,000 has been spent on expenses by the two DA candidates.

The Story Decatur, Boyd and Runaway Bay move the official Halloween celebration day from the 31st to the 30th.

The Spin "That doesn't seem right," said one Wise County citizen. "It kind of makes me wonder. I guess only God could move Christmas so who are those high falutin politicians taking their orders from in order to move Halloween? That don't surprise me one bit."
