The Story Jim Popp files to run for County Commissioner in Precinct One saying, in light of the number of Wise County jobs, that "I'm 150 percent behind our domestic oil and gas industry."

The Story Eighteen month Wise County resident Mike Gregory writes a Letter to the Editor ranting about the law of traffic law enforcement in the county.

The Story After 8 regular season games and three tournaments, the Decatur High School basketball team finally wins a game by beating Pilot Point. (I'm pretty sure about this, but not 150% sure.)

The Story I completely missed this gaffe by the Messenger in mid-December. The caption of the photo read, "Cant Touch Her - Boyd Guard Emily Bingham drives on a Godley defender during Tuesday district 10-2A season opener in Wise County. The senior standout scored 14 points to lead the Lady Yellowjackets to victory."
