The Spin There's just something a little weird about that place. Not zombie weird. But pretty weird.

The Story Political advertising begins as Phil Kings throws some money at the Messenger to run an ad: "As a conservative Republican, you can fight on me to fight illegal immigration, protect private property rights, reduce property taxes, improve public education, defeat big government spending, and defend our sacred values of faith and family."

The Story In a advertisement story in the Messenger, we learn that doctors at the Decatur hospital will now be able to access a patient's medical information by his/her PDA.  "That means any nurse can send new information about a patient's medical file to a doctor who is out in public at a baseball game, for instance, and the doctor can instantly decide what medications that patient needs."

The Spin Puuuleeeze. If it's an emergency, the doctor will receive a phone call. If it's not, he's not checking his PDA to browse medical records. 

The Story The Messenger runs a full page story on the presence of Wiccans, of practitioner of witchcraft, in Wise County.

The Spin "We've even got guitars on stage during our worship service," said one fake Wise County Wiccan. "We don't want to be bound by traditional religion boundaries.  We like jeans, living a lifestyle beyond our means, and the belief that we the Great Witch wants us all to be rich. It's sweet."

The Story In one week in boy's basketball, Argyle beats Bridgeport, 102-33, and Decatur,  81-54.

The Spin "This ain't good," said one disgruntled fan. "Yeah, it's not football but these winter months are hard enough once those credit card bills hit. But you'd think my boy would at least play like he deserved to be born."
