The Story Students at Carson Elementary learn computer skills by emailing a dog named Zoe who hangs out at the school.  "Students can click on the photo of Zoe to link them to a page that asks them for their name, teach, and their grade and allows them to write a message to Zoe."

The Spin A police task force  immediately arrested Zoe as an internet predator.

The Story The Decatur High School girls golf team beats Bridgeport to capture their first district golf title in 35 years.  It ended Bridgeport's fifteen consecutive year win streak.

The Spin In a shocking move, the team immediately turned to the Bridgeport girls an announced, "We didn't even bring our A game!"

The Spin Former Dallas Cowboys Larry Cole plans a development in Boyd off of FM 730 which will begin with 120 lots with homes that will range between $300,000 and $500,000. In other real estate news, J.K. Miller annoucned a 266 acre upscale gated community for 200 lots each having homes with a minimum of 3,500 square feet.

The Spin Bridgeport senior and TCU signee Colin Jones captures first place at the district meet in the 100 meter dash with a time 10.39 seconds.

The Spin In the Messenger's multi-authored "Inside Wise" column, a blurb appeared about some voters in the Precinct 4 Republican runoff voting illegally because they had earlier voted in the Democratic primary.
