The Story Five coaches from various school districts in the county will attempt to ride real steers for eight seconds at a charity event on May 22nd. "Only Alvord High School has not sent a representative to the competition."

The Spin Alvord ISD's academic ranking was immediately raised to "Excellent" because its coaches are really, really smart..

The Story Commissioners reject the proposed purchase by Justice of the Peace C.D. Archer of an Olympus digital camera for $1,000 to be used on "inquests".
