High Schools "sells out" its personalized parking spots with 54 of the
them going for $100 a pop. Those lucky (an affluent) kids get to paint
their spots in any manner they wish so long as they don't violate an
unknown standard of decency. |

The Story | Our eyes glazed over at the number
of Letters to the Editor supporting EMS as the county commissioners
decide whether to enact a scorched earth policy by hiring Careflight to
replace EMS. Our favorite letter came from Deb Allen of
Bridgeport who wrote "To my knowledge, the current commissioners
haven't ever had to go try to glue a child's body and brains back
together, with parent screaming in the background . . . . " |
