The Story A beer and wine petition is launched in Paradise. One former councilman believes it "would be a great source of revenue for the city and could help avoid any more increase [in] property taxes."

And three things are guaranteed: (1) Every newscast will lead off with "It's the busiest shopping day of the year" - since no reporter worked on Thanksgiving and a time filler is desperately  needed, (2) every newscast will include a reporter broadcasting live from DFW International Airport, and (3) everyone will utter the phrase "It was nice, but I ate too much" at least once.
