The Story Portions of the new concrete road leading to what will be the new Decatur High School have to be torn up to correct construction problems.
News worthiness (on a scale of 0 to 5) **
The Spin Uh....that doesn't make us feel real comfortable when the construction on the high school facility begins.

The Story County Judge Dick Chase catches some flak from commissioner Mikel Richardson for not being invited or informed about a long range planning committee Chase held with a variety of citizens. "I would rather commissioners got notice of the meeting from you rather than reading about it in the paper."

The Story The Northwest ISD superintendent Keith Sockwell calls it quits after five years. (Yawn)

The Story After voting not to renew Weatherford College President Dr. Don Huff's contract (which will expire in August), trustees voted to now place him on paid administrative leave for the rest of the contract period.
